Angel Creek Lodge is located fifty miles east of Fairbanks (Alaska's second largest city), nestled in a the wilderness of the State of Alaska's Chena State Recreation Area. The "Rec. Area" is 397 square miles of forests, rivers, and alpine tundra, and has something to offer everyone. Whether your interests lie in the active pursuit of adventure, or in the quiet  enjoyment of nature, you'll find something to your liking at Angel Creek Lodge.

We are a "Mom & Pop" business, and are open year round. That means that in addition to the usual summer activities of camping, hiking, fishing, wildlife viewing, etc., you can come and enjoy winter activities such as snow machining, skijoring, ice fishing, Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) watching too. Truthfully, winter at Angel Creek Lodge is just as much fun as summer!

Life in rural Alaska is probably far different than what you're use to. The power grid ends about 25 miles from us, so we have to generate our own electricity. Cell phones don't work here, and the Post Office doesn't deliver this far out. On the plus side, we have no noise or light pollution, very little traffic. Ah, peace and tranquility! If you are interested in experiencing what life in rural Alaska is like, then a visit to Angel Creek Lodge is a "must do". We have five cabins available for rent. Each of the cabins has its own unique personality. For more information click on the "Cabins" link above.

Angel Creek Lodge is famous for its "Valley Burgers" and deep fried chicken baskets. People come from all over (yes, even by dog sled & snow machine) to feast on a "Valley Burger". For more information click on the "Restaurant/Bar" link above.

Thanks for visiting our website. We look forward to having you stop by our Angel Creek Lodge for a visit.

(NOTE: Some of the various websites that provide information about the location of Angel Creek Lodge are websites that don't really understand rural Alaska. We are sure their intensions are the best, but their location information is off just a bit -- BY 40 MILES OR SO!! Come on folks, Alaska ain't Rhode Island. The distances between places in Alaska are just a tad greater than what you may be used to.)
